This whisky is bottled directly from the cask without undergoing chill-filtration or alcohol reduction, resulting in a rich and full-bodied flavor profile. A'bunadh is not intended for those with delicate palates, as each batch is matured solely in Spanish Oloroso Sherry Butts. The aroma evokes the essence of Christmas, featuring dried dates intertwined with robust spices such as cloves, star anise, and cinnamon, complemented by hints of burnt orange. The palate experiences a luxurious coating of black cherries and dark chocolate, enriched with sherry and oak undertones.
